2 days until Spain!

Day 6 of the Reunion:
In the morning, my mom, two of my aunts, and me went to a water aerobics lesson! It was fun, and if you sweated, no big deal. You were already in the pool. Later in the afternoon, the girls went to see Mamma Mia. Great movie! Included some really attractive Greek guys. Mom and Dad went to the Brian Regan concert, while us kids went to pick food up at Bajio and then went home to watch three movies (Dragonheart, Dragonheart: The New Beginning, and Willow).

Day 7 (Thursday) of the Reunion:
Horseback riding! My horse's name was Charlie and he was a smart horsie. We just went up and back down a trail on the horses. Christopher hasn't stopped talking about it since... A little while after, just our family went to Tucanos. Christopher was in heaven, all you can eat meat. Amanda liked the all you can eat rice part. We went swimming with Mark & Cathy's kids later that evening.

Day 8 of the Reunion:
Checkout! We all cleaned out the condo we were in and bolted, heading for Provo. The plan was to hike Timpanogos Cave with Mark & Cathy + kids. However, when we got there, we discovered that the tickets were all SOLD OUT because a ranger didn't show up. Then the tickets for Saturday were all sold out as well. We would have to get there at 6:30 on Saturday to get in line, and still not even have a guarantee. We took family pictures instead. Christopher was stung by a bee by the river. After the pictures, everyone headed to Iceberg for shakes and fries. It was chaotic, to say the least. My parents checked into their hotel, and Alex went to his apartment and I went to mine.

Day 9 (Saturday) of the Reunion:

We spent the entire afternoon at my Grandparent's house in SLC. Mostly sitting around talking about the family and eating watermelon. Later, we went to Selena's house for barbecuing and socializing. I left my car there for the rest of the year :'(. This was also the last day that I'll be seeing my family until the end of the year. Sad day indeed.

Day 10 of the Reunion:
This day doesn't really count because this is when everyone who hadn't already left bolted out of Utah. I went to dinner at Brittney's house though!

Today leaves only two more days until I board a plane for the other side of the world, by myself.

Day 5 of the Reunion

Today we went on the ziplines! They were over where the Winter Olympics were held. There were two ziplines, and of course we went on both :). After sliding down the hill with the ziplines (I lost the race), we moved on to the Quicksilver (where I was too slow and got bumped into).

Next was an entire afternoon/evening spent in Salt Lake City with my dad's side of the family for the celebration of my grandmother's 78th birthday. Ahh, so fun to see the contrast. Instead of discussing iPhones, lesbians and anorexics were the topic of choice. Oh, and how I'm going to get married in Spain (not happening). Seeing some cousins I haven't seen in a while was the best part though (Paulie!).

This entire trip so far has been exhausting. I start falling asleep around 8:00 pm, which is incredibly weird. So on that note, ciao!

Day 4 of the Reunion

Day 1:

After the hectic packing and storing, my family and I all headed up to Park City. The night at our place of residence was filled with zombies, godzilla, and monkeys.

Day 2:

Saturday was the first family reunion on the list. It was Grandma's side with the Osguthorpes, Platts, and Koncurats. We played partner tag, ate sandwiches, and heard the history of Grandma O (my great-grandma) and Grandpa O (her husband). The amount of iphone's in sight was a true testament to the nerdiness and gadget-loving-ness of my mom's side of the family.

Day 3:

Sunday. We had a birthday party for my Grandma at night. It was a glorious night filled with ice cream cake, singing, and chaotic noise.

For right now, that's pretty much it :).
